Richard Tetrault and his photographer wife Esther Rausenberg.
The new space has many delights so I can not spend time crying of the loose of the the wonderful studio that I have shared with Ray Opohoff the last three years. Ray and I will be sharing a space it what was Richard Tretaults old studio where we will be joining Lori Sokoluk and Arwen Hunter. The building has a lot of history and once was one of Vancouver's larger bakeries.
More about the new studio to come.

(Using old sample of paper that I acquire in the old days of doing graphic design is not such a good idea after all.)

A. The one on the left is a bond paper. I chose a light pastel colour because I thought that it would be easier to see to remove when rubbing it away. The left is a thin but hard surfaced bond that I thought would probably be not work.
B. The pastel paper worked as I thought it would. Still a messy but you can see easily what you have missed.
C. With this one I used a paper with a hard surface, almost like vellum and it worked like a charm. (unfortunately I do not know the make of the paper.) I will try again with a today with Strathmore tracing paper and see how that goes.
I am packing up to more to a new studio space at the end of the month and Have been a little to preoccupied to post. I will try to be more disciplined.

licorice all sorts I have one other post of licorice all sorts. There was another that I accidentally deleted trying to make an update. That will teach me to be tricky. It was a hamburger broach. I hope I can find the photo again.

Granville Island greets the fire monkey in style. Every year the lions come to dance there way through the market bringing prosperity and shredding gifts of lettuce. I am not sure about the prosperity but I can vouch for the lettuce. No fire works inside the market though. If you want to come and see ... I will not be in the market selling that day but I might drop in for the fun.

So three sheets of colouing fun: a french fold card, an 8.5 x 11 picture and a sheet of various sizes especially good for polymer clay transfers.
Here is the link Dragon Square.
