Get in my Enros in Rows

I have been making for a couple of years but this last month I have been motivated to see if I can push it a bit. I was surprised that there is so few of them turning up on the net. They have a charm and now that we have memory chips they actually have more of a purpose then ever before. Mostly I just like them. They feel good and they do something – like open. There are more coming - some smaller ones that I will make up as necklaces. This is what I want to so now but there is the summer to plan for and juries to submit to. I'll do a little of that and reward myself by working on more enros.

Beginner Classes this February

This February I will be offering two types of introductory polymer clay class at Arts Off Main, an artists collective in Vancover. I will provide all the tools and enough clay for the class (about two blocks). If you want more clay you can buy Fimo Soft clay from me for $3.00 a block or I can point you to places that sell pc clay.

We will out with basic millefiori or mokumegane techniques. Even something simple can look quit difficult. Secrets will be revealed. Beads and veneers will be made.

While your beads cook we will prepare clay for additional work and I will help with individual projects.

If you fall in love with the medium I can sell you some of the supplies or direct you to where they are sold.

For the flyer containing more information go to Classes.

Happy Year of the Bunny

Happy New Year to all.
Here it is the year of the rabbit – or at least it will be in February. I remember a card I made years ago and never sent to anyone. It’s a bunny for all seasons. Sort of all purpose, or just a little cynical. Makes me want to get back to drawing more – love drawing.
